The Kansas City Royals remain in the midst of a multi-year rebuild, which may enable some younger players to see the field throughout the 2020 campaign. The Royals have been stockpiling talent the past few years and fans should expect a few top prospects in the system to reach the majors this year. Here are the three best of the bunch who have a realistic shot at cracking the bigs this season.

3. Khalil Lee

Khalil Lee reached Double-A in 2019 and also played in the Arizona Fall League. He had 53 stolen bases during the Double-A season and batted .264 with 21 doubles, though he struck out 153 times which is cause for concern. Lee, who ranks as the No. 4 prospect in KC's farm, should be able to slide in at right field, but could also play in center if the Royals end up trading Whit Merrifield.

2. Daniel Lynch

Daniel Lynch is a 6-6 southpaw who finished 2019 in Advanced-A ball. He combined to strike out 96 batters over 96.1 innings across three minor-league levels. Lynch was a starter in all 20 of his appearances and is a 2018 first-round pick. The Royals should see what they have in him now while the team is still in a transition phase. He is the third overall prospect in the organization and is already 23 years old.

1. Brady Singer

Brady Singer is the top-ranked pitching prospect in the organization and is ranked second overall. He was another 2018 first-round pick and made his way up to Double-A in 2019. He had a 3.47 ERA at that level, striking out 85 batters in 90.2 innings. Singer is someone the Royals need to call up in 2020 to get experience. He is projected to be in the rotation for years to come and he doesn't need much more time in the minors after a successful college career at Florida.
