3 Pro Bowlers the Cowboys Should Sign in Free Agency
By Jerry Trotta

Don't play yourselves, football fans. There NFL free agent market still boasts some incredible talent that any team, like the Dallas Cowboys, would be lucky to have (at the right price) for the upcoming season.
The Cowboys' offense is hampered by Dak Prescott's inability to throw the ball down field but its still blessed with dynamic playmakers that give it elite potential.
Their defense, on the other hand, will be hindered by a suspect secondary as well as the suspensions of pass rushers Randy Gregory and David Irving. With that in mind, let's take a look at potential Pro Bowlers the Cowboys can welcome aboard.
3. Sam Shields
After missing almost two full years of football due to several concussions, Shields returned to the NFL last season after the Rams signed him to a low-risk one-year deal. The Miami product had one interception, four passes defensed, and 22 tackles, while also playing a key role on special teams for the Rams in 2018. Now 31 years old and fresh off his first 16-game season ever, the Cowboys should look to Shields to add a veteran presence to a young secondary.
2. Ndamukong Suh
During his most recent campaign that ended with a loss in the Super Bowl, Suh recorded 59 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 4 pass deflections and 2 fumble recoveries. At 32 years old, Suh can still be a productive player for several teams across the league. It just depends if the Nebraska product is willing to take a pay cut. He would demand double teams that would only leave more room for Pro Bowler Demarcus "Tank" Lawrence to let loose.
1. Gerald McCoy
On Monday, the Buccaneers elected to move on from former All-Pro defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, who has anchored their defensive line for the last nine seasons. He'll likely come at a hefty price, but there isn't another player on the current market that would take Dallas' defense to another dynamic and wavelength. The Cowboys should swoop in before another team snatches McCoy up.
