3 NFL Quarterbacks Who Clearly Belong in the XFL

Eight quarterbacks were assigned to XFL teams on Tuesday ahead of the league's first ever draft. Several of the quarterbacks have NFL experience, which reminded us that...how do we put this nicely...some current NFL gunslingers may be better suited for the XFL.

Come on, now. Wouldn't you like to see this?!

3. Luke Falk

Falk had a chance to make a name for himself in the league with two starts for the Jets, but that...that name was not the right kind of name. After a few disjointed performances, it's now clear that Falk is best suited for the XFL. Falk threw for only 208 yards, zero touchdowns and three picks in his two starts. He gave the Jets no life, and it's unlikely any NFL team would waste their time with the current free agent as anything more than depth. Time to try a new league!

2. Case Keenum

Keenum is a typical journeyman quarterback. Good enough to stick on teams, look good in practice and have some success in games, but not good enough to be anything more than that, save for the PERFECT situation (2017 in Minnesota). However, this year Keenum is proving that with extended playing time, he is currently a bad NFL starting quarterback. Players like Keenum are usually great against lesser competition, so perhaps he could be an XFL star and the Houston product could lead an air raid offense.

1. Jameis Winston

Come on. Come onnnnn. Don't you want it?! Six games into his fifth NFL season, we have enough evidence to confirm that the former first overall pick is a bust. Interceptions have always been an issue for Winston, but his five in Week 6 proved that he simply is not advancing, and the NFL may be too quick for him, continually undoing any "progress" he's made. This is the end of his contract in Tampa Bay. The XFL could use a marquee acquisition. Come on, Jameis. Consider it, at least.
