Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk delivered the fight of the year in an instant classic at UFC 248 on Saturday in Las Vegas. Weili ultimately defended her strawweight title by defeating Jedrzejczyk in a split decision, but that wasn't the prominent talking point. The duo showcased a pace that hasn't graced the Octagon for quite some time. Heck, there's a reason that the fight ranked third place for most significant strikes landed in a championship bout. It was such a frenetic fight that viewers probably missed a few of the killer blows. Lucky for them, UFC's "Fight Motion" cameras caught all of the action in slow-motion.

My goodness.

The fact that Weili and Jedrzejczyk stayed upright for the entire 25 minutes is utterly absurd, and both warriors deserve massive credit for doing so.

Forget it being recognized as the best title fight in UFC women's history. This uninterrupted, back-and-forth brawl deserves consideration as one of the best title fights in the history of the UFC.
