Zach Smith Willing to Bet Money That Urban Meyer Coaches USC One Day
By Joey Mauceri

For the time being, legendary college football head coach Urban Meyer's days on the sidelines appear to be over. The three-time national champion called it quits following another successful season with Ohio State, however not everyone has been convinced that Meyer will never return to coaching.
One speculator doubled down on this, as longtime Meyer assistant Zach Smith claimed he was willing to bet money that Urban will be returning to coaching football in the near future. However, it will not be for the Buckeyes, it will be for the Trojans at USC.

Smith made this claim recently on his 'Menace 2 Society' podcast, stating that a source told him that Meyer has been receiving and sending mail from the University of Southern California.
Meyer's participation this coming fall on FOX's coverage of college football with former USC alum Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush surely won't help matters. Bush had already said he will try to recruit Meyer to coach the Trojans.
If Urban Meyer takes the USC job in the near future... I CAN NOT WAIT to read and hear Bert McMurphy (@Brett_McMurphy) say “Originally reported by Zach Smith”

Obviously if there is any truth to these rumors, the prospect of having Meyer coach the football program is an exciting one for the Trojans. While Meyer will command a huge salary, he'll be worth the money due to the pedigree he brings to the table.
