You Can Buy a $7,500 Crystal Raiders Helmet Now But You Definitely Shouldn't

A brand new item of Raiders memorabilia has gone on sale thanks to a collaboration with the Austrian jewelry company Swarovski. This has to be the ultimate piece of chaotic bling for any self-respecting jewelry collector to have.
Oh, and did we mention that you can purchase this very, very shiny crystal helmet for the reasonable price of $7,500?
I would not recommend spending $7500 on a Swarovski Crystal Raiders helmet https://t.co/Qkhd4XZo1n pic.twitter.com/9hoVIGan46

It's hard to tell whether this collaboration is a stunt to glamorize the Raiders as they prepare for a move to the city of Las Vegas, or whether this is just a completely unrelated vanity project orchestrated by owner Mark Davis. Regardless of why this item exists, it's pretty clear that you should avoid purchasing this bedazzled piece of concussion-preventing sports equipment. However, some hardcore couples in Raider nation may ultimately prefer this item in lieu of an engagement ring.
Then again, with the team heading out of town (and looking happy to be on their way), this is probably more for a Vegas fan than an Oakland one.

As we say goodbye to the days of the Oakland Raiders, this crystal Raider helmet is perhaps the perfect symbol of just why this team struggled so hard to find success in the 21st century. The team is always in the news for reasons other than football.
