The Yankees rode Edwin Encarnación's bat yesterday as the slugger went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in the team's 5-1 win. As if New York's lineup needs any help, Gio Urshela was reinstated from the injured list on Sunday.

The Red Sox need to win this game. It's clear that Boston's pitching will be a problem for the rest of the season, but that may put more pressure on bats like J.D. Martinez and Mookie Betts to carry the team.
Rick Porcello (12-11 5.63 ERA) will be tasked with shutting down the Yankees lineup. The former CY Young winner has not been good this season and has struggled to the tune of a 5.89 ERA in his last seven games.
