Yankees Troll Red Sox After 4-Game Sweep With Special Postgame Victory Music

The 2019 New York Yankees are known for boasting a club-like atmosphere in their locker room, post-victories.

Though Aaron Judge may have gotten the postgame song troll train rolling last postseason with a rudimentary boombox outside the Sox locker room, the team finally got to celebrate, full-throated, on their own turf on Monday.

Of course, Boston ended the Yanks' season last year, motivated by a whole bunch of artificial garbage, since they never went through any actual adversity during the 2018 season. These Yankees? They know real pain. They've had 28 (28!!) players hit the IL. And so yes, they let loose after potentially ending Boston's season in August.

Yes, this win is certainly more than a feeling. It's a movement.

Hopefully, the "Replace for 28" crew can continue the motivation they cultivated this weekend, and lay waste to the rest of the league with trademark fervor.

Of course, there were some dissenting opinions from Saugus about whether or not this was cool.

The Boston Red Sox completed an entire series worth of similarly petty behavior just about a year ago last August, highlighted by Alex Cora caterwauling about what a quality start was, and literally dropping a mic after a Luis Severino loss.

Sorry the tables have turned and the other locker room is having fun at home now. You really, honestly, truly hate to see it.
