For every disgruntled New York Yankees fan out there, especially those unnecessarily angry at Giancarlo Stanton, you may just have some hope.

Major League Baseball will be enacting the controversial universal designated hitter rule in 2020, which now provides more possibilities than ever. There's undoubtedly a sector of Bronx Bombers fans that no longer want Stanton in Pinstripes for obvious reasons. While his inaugural season with the Yanks was a success, he's stunk overall in the postseason, played in just 23 total games last year, and wasn't on track to start the 2020 campaign on time because of another unbelievable nagging injury a man of his stature probably shouldn't be hampered with.

Well, now, if general manager Brian Cashman so wishes, he has another 15 teams he can talk Stanton trades with since the slugger's value is mostly in the DH spot.

Remember those fun rumors?! While the Yanks don't have another monster free agent target to go after in wake of such a deal, they can simply attempt to rid themselves of Stanton's onerous contract and injury woes while also successfully filling his spot in the lineup. New York has a surplus of outfielders and power bats that don't cost over $25 million per season.

Maybe the Los Angeles Dodgers want to really go for it all in 2020 and take a chance on Stanton. What about the Milwaukee Brewers?! They definitely need another power bat in that lineup if they want to compete with the Cubs and Cardinals. Perhaps the reigning World Series champion Nationals?

Look, this isn't easy. The Yankees would no doubt have to eat money here or give up a top prospect or two if they wish to rid themselves of the contract entirely. But there's still hope for all of those fans out there that no longer want to be bothered with Stanton. The chances of him finding a new home just doubled with this news and given we're about to enter a shortened season where anything goes, it wouldn't be shocking to see a fringe NL team roll the dice and look to add a dynamic power bat like Stanton to their lineup.
