Yankees signing Matt Carpenter came from out of nowhere

Where in the world did this come from? That's what New York Yankees fans must be asking themselves, as the team signed former All-Star infielder Matt Carpenter to a new deal.
Carpenter was signed and made his way to the active roster. This isn't some scrub who has made his way to town, as Carpenter is a three-time All-Star player. Fans are loving this move.

Carpenter is fired up to be with the Yankees, as NY has high World Series odds. Things are going well for the Yankees thus far this season and they're looking like serious threats in the AL. Adding someone like Carpenter could prove to be a brilliant move.
