Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier is an interesting test case for future stardom.
Quickest bat in the AL East, clear star power, kick game, and swagger? He had all of it, yet his defensive deficiencies (among other things, surely) took him out of the Yankees' plans midway through the 2019 season while he was in the middle of posting a ridiculous year of RISP numbers.
His confidence was, in many ways, earned. But, in others, it was a little off-putting. So, what better to adorn Frazier's mantel than a big, blown-up Kanye tweet?!
"Please. Do everything you possibly can in one lifetime," reads the message from West, presumably sent during one of his wildly different career turns.
We forgive you if you were distracted by either the massive cat or the Dallas Cowboys highlights, but rest assured, unless Frazier's photoshop skills are better than his UZR, that's a real Kanye tweet hanging above the stockings.
Frazier is a talented man, and would make a great Yankee. The video evidence is all out there in the wild.
But let's upgrade his contract in the meantime so he can replace that decor. At least a Ken Rosenthal tweet.
