Major League Baseball is on hiatus, and it has many fans desperate for some kind of baseball entertainment. Luckily, MLB The Show 20 was released on March 17 to sate some of those appetites. For New York Yankees fans, it's provided an opportunity to get a preview of their new pitcher Gerrit Cole in action. If the game's anything to go by, it'll be fantastic.

Rob Friedman's video of Cole getting cocky while he continues to manhandle the Orioles should be a fun sight for Yankee fans, even if it isn't a real game.

In the real world, Cole's been getting in some throwing reps with his wife Amy, who also has a cannon.

Cole was signed in December to a record-breaking nine-year, $324 million contract. The blockbuster move came after he led the MLB with 326 strikeouts and was third with a 2.50 ERA. He's a game-changing player for the Yankees and has the opportunity to round out their already strong roster. For now, we'll have to settle for watching him play in computer-generated pinstripes. So far, that's been pretty good.
