Yankees bringing back Aaron Boone would be a big mistake

Some surprising news has come out from New York, as ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that the Yankees are leaning towards bringing back Aaron Boone as manager next season. Seriously?
While Boone is a team legend, the Yankees continue to disappoint with him in charge of the team. If Boone indeed does make his way back to the dugout in 2021, Hal Steinbrenner very well could end up regretting this.

The 2021 season was a major disappointment for the team. Not only was New York not even close to winning the AL East, but they were embarrassed in the AL Wild Card Game by the Boston Red Sox. At the end of the day, that's on Boone.
