The ALCS between the Houston Astros and New York Yankees is knotted at one game apiece, with Game 3 taking place at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday. This is a huge game for both squads, but especially for the Astros with Gerrit Cole on the mound. This is the kind of game that could end up deciding the series.

With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for Game 3 of the ALCS in the Bronx.

3. Yankee Bullpen Enters Early

Luis Severino is probably already on a short leash because of the injury and lack of innings he's accumulated, and even though manager Aaron Boone has already stated that Game 4 is a bullpen game, that doesn't mean he won't go to it early in Game 3. Expect Boone to be ready to take Sevy out when any sign of trouble arises.

2. Alex Bregman Makes His Mark

Alex Bregman recorded a hit in every game of the ALDS, but so far against the Yankees he's only 1-for-5 with three walks and a strikeout. That changes tonight in Game 3, as Bregman will be the offensive hero for the Astros on the road.

1. Gerrit Cole Continues Postseason Dominance in the Bronx

In today's day in age, it's hard to imagine any pitcher throwing a complete game, especially in October, but Houston ace Gerrit Cole is going to come close tonight. New York has a relentless offense, but with the way Cole is going right now, you can't stop this guy. There really isn't anyone for the Yankees who has great numbers against the righty, so things are primed for the Astros hurler to assert himself on the big stage in New York and take a 2-1 advantage in the series.
