Wimbledon Official Goes off the Rails and Calls Meghan Markle a Nightmare for Wearing Jeans
By Jerry Trotta

Meghan Markle recently made an unannounced trek to Wimbledon to cheer on close friend Serena Williams. But unfortunately for the Duchess of Sussex, her visit to the prestigious tennis tourney has featured jeers to go along with the cheers.
First, Markle did not make fans happy when she refused to take pictures and selfies in the crowd (which, by the way, is totally understandable considering she actually wanted to watch tennis).
Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon, however, and Markle was scorned by a Wimbledon official for her outfit-- in particular, her decision to wear jeans.

"It was a nightmare, she was a nightmare," the anonymous official told the Times UK.
For those (like ourselves, at first) wondering why Markle's outfit received so much backlash, well, apparently it's a violation of etiquette to don denim in the All England Club members' section where the Duchess was taking in today's action.

One anonymous club member did their best to explain the overblown dilemma:
"She wanted to come incognito but there were problems," said the source. "They couldn’t invite her into the royal box because she was wearing jeans but that didn’t really matter because all she wanted to do was come and watch Serena. Andy Murray was on Court 1 afterwards, and it was a massive faux pas not to watch a Brit when she is signed up to the Royal Family."
We understand that there are traditions that have been in place for a long time, but seriously? We'd absolutely back Markle if she elected to troll the official and rock jeans for tomorrow's matches, should she be in attendance. Seriously, who's going to stop her?
