The Los Angeles Lakers are a team coming into the 2019-2020 NBA season with a lot of hype, and high expectations. The Lakers made a big splash in free agency last year and acquired one of the games biggest stars and most well known players, LeBron James. After a disappointing 2018-2019 season the Lakers then went and signed the biggest free agent of the summer, Anthony Davis. Although the Lakers lost their third big star, DeMarcus Cousins, to an ACL tear late last week there is no reason to think players like Kyle Kuzma, Danny Green, and JaVale McGee can't step up and play a big roll in the Los Angeles Lakers 2019-2020 championship run. Injuries in sports unfortunately have been a part of every game for as long as they have been created. The "next man up" mentality is something the Lakers are going to have to adopt and enforce this year so they can exceed everybody's expectations.

Over the Summer the Los Angeles Lakers brought in veteran coach Frank Vogel. Frank Vogle has the experience that you want from any coach which is why he was a good fit for the Lakers. Vogel was the Head coach of the Indiana Pacers for 6 years, and reached the playoffs 5 out of those 6 years. With Coach Vogel's experience combined with the star power in Lebron James and Anthony Davis, and the "next man up" mentality, the Lakers are poised to take home the 2019 - 2020 NBA Championship.
