The college football world is dominated each and every week by the CFP rankings. As it is with any committee, they are subject to scrutiny from media pundits and fans around the nation.

So that leaves the question: just who are the members of the CFP committee? We've got you covered.

13. Scott Stricklin

Current Director of Athletics at Florida. Prior to his role with the Gators, he served in the same capacity at Mississippi State, where he was named Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year in 2016.

12. Todd Stansbury

Stansbury is the current Athletic Director at Georgia Tech. He was previously the Director of Athletics for Central Florida (2012-15) and Oregon State (2015-16).

11. RC Slocum

Slocum is currently the interim Athletic Director at Texas A&M. He previously served as head coach for the Aggies (1989-2002), where he holds the record for most wins in program history (123-47-2).

10. Ray Odierno

Odierno is a retired former Chief of Staff for the United States Army. A former student athlete at Army, he recorded nearly 40 years of service in the military.

9. Terry Mohajir

Mohajir is the current Director of Athletics at Arkansas State. He previously served as a Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Florida Atlantic (2004-11) and Kansas (2011-12).

8. Ronnie Lott

A former defensive back for the USC Trojans, helping lead the team to the 1978 National Championship Game. Lott is the former eighth-overall pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1981 NFL Draft. A four-time Super Bowl Champion, Lott is a College Football Hall of Famer.

7. Chris Howard

Howard is the current President of Robert Morris University. He played running back at Air Force, where he was named the William V. Campbell Trophy for top senior football scholar athlete. Howard is also a retired Air Force reserve lieutenant colonel.

6. Ken Hatfield

Hatfield spent 26 seasons as a head coach of Air Force (1979-83), Arkansas (1984-89), Clemson (1990-93), and Rice (1994-2005). He was also a defensive back for Arkansas' 1964 National Championship team.

5. Joe Castiglione

Castiglione is the current Director of Athletics at Oklahoma University. He previously served three terms as the chair of the Big 12 Board of Athletic Directors. He previously served as the athletic director at Missouri (1993-98).

4. Paola Boivin

Boivin is currently a professor at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She was previously an award-winning columnist and reporter for the Arizona Republic (1994-2017), culminating in her induction into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.

3. Frank Beamer

Beamer spent 28 seasons as the head coach of the Virginia Tech Hokies. During his lengthy stint, Beamer led the Hokies to 23 consecutive bowl appearances, including a trip to the National Championship in 2000. Beamer was named 2004 -05 ACC Coach of the Year.

2. Gary Barta

Barta is the current Director of Athletics for the Iowa Hawkeyes, where he was named Under Armour's Director of the Year (2015-16). Prior to his stint in Iowa, Barta served as AD at the University of Wyoming.

Mullens is the Chair of the College Football Playoff Committee, while also serving as the Director of Athletics for the Oregon Ducks. Mullens is also a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance's National Advisory Board.
