Thus far in free agency, NFL teams have not disappointed us with all the big moves they've gotten done. On Tuesday, the Colts decided to get in on things, reportedly agreeing to a deal with veteran quarterback Philip Rivers.

Yup, for the first time in his career, No. 17 will be rocking a new jersey come the fall. While that's exciting news for him, what's going to happen to 2019 Colts' starter Jacoby Brissett?

Brissett is coming off a campaign in which he threw for 2,942 yards, 18 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. The Colts aren't bringing in Rivers to be a backup. Nope, they'll give him the keys to the offense in hopes the gunslinger can get this team back to the postseason.

For Brissett, he's not going to be happy riding the bench. The Colts have multiple options moving forward, including trading him for some draft capital. Teams in need of a sharp QB include the Patriots, Bears and Chargers. While we're waiting to see what happens with Tom Brady, a reunion in New England with Brissett could make a lot of sense. Meanwhile, L.A. needs someone to replace Rivers and Chicago fans have had just about enough of Mitch Trubisky.

What about potentially releasing him? Brissett has a cap hit of $21.375 million, with a dead cap of $12.5 million. So, they'd save $8.875 million by letting him go. Nonetheless, that's still a high number so they'll probably look to made a deal with another team.

Right now, all options are on the table for the Colts and Brissett ... other than him being the starter come Week 1, of course.
