Bremen come into the game in the second relegation spot, with only Paderborn beneath them in the table. With a win, they would leapfrog Fortuna Dusseldorf and move level with Mainz.
Werder are coming off a huge 1-0 win over Schalke over the weekend and will look to get further out of the hole they dug themselves earlier in the season.

On the other hand, Frankfurt has struggled recently, losing four of their last six, with two of those losses coming after the break. Realistically, Frankfurt's European hopes are finished, as they sit 10 points clear of the Europa League spots.
However, Frankfurt will look to close out their campaign strongly. They've done fairly well this season, considering the substantial losses of Luka Jovic, Sebastian Haller, and Ante Rebic they suffered last summer. They'll look to set a precedent moving forward with a dominant win over Werder on Wednesday.
