Former UW QB Jake Browning Tweets for First Time Since April Just to Troll WSU During Apple Cup

Friday's 2019 edition of the Apple Cup rivalry matchup between Washington and Washington State didn't exactly garner the hype of fixtures in previous years, as it marked the first time since 2014 that neither program was ranked heading into the game.

To say that the Huskies dominated the Cougars in recent years would be an understatement, as they've won every game since 2015 by a combined score of 159-56.

Ironically enough, Washington was back thumping WSU, defeating the Cougars 31-13 on Saturday, and former Huskies signal caller Jake Browning took to Twitter in the fourth quarter to troll his old rival.

What makes Browning's banter all the more hysterical is that this post marked the first time he tweeted since April! What better time to make a Twitter comeback than witnessing your alma matter obliterate their in-state adversary?

We're not sure what will be harder for Washington State to recover from: Browning's troll or the fact that the Huskies have won SEVEN consecutive Apple Cup contests. We'll go with the latter.

Even from his couch, Browning continues to put WSU in body bags. If this doesn't summarize everything great about college football rivalries, we don't know what does.
