Superstar Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been out since October with a broken left hand.

It now looks like he's finally on his way back. Per the Athletic's Shams Charania, the two-time MVP will be making his return to the hardwood on Sunday in Golden State's game against the Washington Wizards.

Curry has been on the bench since October 30, when a collision with the Phoenix Suns' Aron Baynes saw the big man fall on Curry's hand, breaking it.

The Warriors have struggled without his offensive contributions, as they have the worst record in the NBA and sit dead-last in the Western Conference, a full 16 games out of a playoff spot. They're 12-45, and have had an assortment of young players try and come in to make an impact alongside Draymond Green to no avail.

Although it's improbable that Curry could singlehandedly make an impact in the Western Conference standings at this point, the value of having the greatest shooter in NBA history back with such a young roster around him cannot be overstated. Although the rest of the league is terrified of him, the NBA is a better place with Steph Curry in it.
