Warriors Snubbing Kevin Durant From 'Decade' Montage is Pathetic

Injuries and free agent departures have resulted in the Golden State Warriors descent from first to worst in the Western Conference, and arguably the NBA as a whole.

Despite their struggles in 2019, Sports Business Journal named the Warriors as the "Franchise of the Decade." The Dubs posted a slideshow on Twitter to celebrate and reminisce, but one significant player was noticeably missing from the montage.

Yep, the Warriors somehow failed to include Kevin Durant in their photo slideshow, despite him playing an influential role in the team winning back-to-back NBA Finals in 2017 and 2018, taking home the MVP award in both series'.

It seems like Golden State is still upset with Durant's decision to move to the East Coast and sign with the Brooklyn Nets this past summer, which is absolutely ridiculous.

Golden State did include players like Jarrett Jack and even Festus Ezeli, all of whom did far less for the franchise and couldn't come close to sniffing the greatness of Durant.

It's ironic that NBA fans are so quick to come to KD's defense after they unanimously taunted him for signing with the Warriors back in 2016, but even those who disagreed with his infamous decision can recognize his importance to those championship teams.
