After the Golden State Warriors swept the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals, people have started to question how big of an impact Kevin Durant has had to their recent success.

Many believe his days as a Warrior are numbered due to his impending free agency this summer. But for right now, the Warriors owner claims KD is still a pivotal piece for Golden State and he'll definitely be back for the Finals.

Before getting injured against the Houston Rockets during the Western Conference semifinals, Durant was slowly cementing himself as the best player in the world, surpassing LeBron James for that crown. But now, after his team finished off Houston and swept Dame Lillard and the Trail Blazers without him, some don't even thing he's the best player on his own team.

The best player in the NBA debate will always be ongoing. Every year there seems to be another name thrown into the mix, but this debate is pretty captivating considering it deals with the best team in the league.

Then again, the argument is senseless. It won't matter which team makes it out of the East if KD and Curry are playing their best basketball.

Toronto or Milwaukee, we'll wish you the best of luck. You'll need it, and probably the reincarnation of a '96 Michael Jordan, if you want to dethrone the Warriors.
