VIDEO: Viral Eagles Fan Who Saved Baby From Burning Building Can't Stop the Football References
By Scott Rogust

Philadelphia native Hakim Laws became a viral sensation this week when he caught a baby and woman escaping a burning building on Sunday. Following the rescue, Laws took the time to take a shot at Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor, who had a crucial drop in the team's 27-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, and now, he's back at it again. During an interview with NBC10 Philadelphia, Laws provided his recollection of what happened during that amazing rescue. And we must warn you, there are plenty of football metaphors.
Nothing, not even a dramatic rescue, can stop a frustrated @Eagles fan from venting about a tough loss, as Hakim Laws proved in a moment that made him a social media sensation. He spoke to @JClarkNBCS in an #Exclusive interview: https://t.co/sOY8oDkIyQ pic.twitter.com/RoRzXcbNgY

We told ya.
Laws, a former firefighter and Army veteran, stepped into action to help out in whatever way he could. He caught the aforementioned infant and woman, and he said he made sure that there was "no fumble."
Famously, on the night of the event, Laws couldn't help but take a dig at Agholor's less-than-sure hands in describing what happened.

"Messed up my whole day," Laws said, via NBC Sports Philadelphia of the Eagles' defeat to the Lions. "That was earlier the same day that happened. Maybe 12 hours or so. Less than that. Yeah, I'm gonna think about that all day."
Even though Laws was frustrated with Agholor, the fifth-year receiver stepped up in a huge way after the fact. Agholor asked Twitter users to help him get in contact with Laws, whom he plans to bring to the Eagles' next home game along with his family.
Thank you for being a hero in the community, would like to invite you and your family to the next home game

As everyone knows, the Philadelphia fan base is a passionate bunch, and they'll let the athletes on their favorite teams know exactly what's on their minds. Even during a serious situation, Hakim Laws had to vent about his Eagles.
But let's remember him more as a hero in a serious time of need than as a social media sensation.
