The Minnesota Vikings shook the NFL landscape when they traded wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills in mid-March.

That deal occurred over two weeks ago, and Minnesota has yet to add a wideout to line up opposite star Adam Thielen. With the WR market now barren, the Vikings should consider making a draft day deal to jump up a few picks and select one of the top pass catcher's in the 2020 class.

Mel Kiper currently has the San Francisco 49ers taking Jerry Jeudy with the No. 13 overall pick in his latest mock draft, and the Vikings have just the assets in place to swoop in and poach the former Alabama superstar.

Minnesota could trade up to No. 12, where the Raiders are presently positioned, and give Las Vegas the No. 22 and No. 25 picks in the first round The Raiders would then have three selections in a seven-pick span: No. 19 and No. 25. General manager Mike Mayock would be positioned to grab an elite receiver, perhaps Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson, a top cornerback, and perhaps a quarterback to help groom under Derek Carr.

The Vikings, meanwhile, would not only fill a hole at WR by snagging arguably the top talent in a loaded class, but they wouldn't have to worry about paying another first-round pick given their limited cap space ($12 million). They'd effectively use the pick the Bills gave them to acquire another playmaking wideout and then can make another selection at No. 58.

This is a win-win proposal for both sides, so Minnesota should really get Las Vegas on the phone as soon as possible to start negotiations.
