Sure, he's not going to be one of the very best available safeties in the NFL once free agency opens up, but Jayron Kearse wants every team to know that he's about to be 100% available.

On Friday, a Vikings fan account speculated on Twitter that the team would likely not want to re-sign Kearse once his rookie deal officially runs out when the 2020 league year begins. Moments later, Kearse himself stepped in and eliminated all possible doubt.

Ah. Well, then.

A seventh-round pick out of Clemson in the 2016 NFL Draft, Kearse has appeared in 62 out of a possible 64 games in his four pro seasons in Minnesota. He has mostly featured on special teams, however, and has started just five career games to date in the defensive backfield.

If his tweet is any evidence, though, he's got a fine sense of humor and a commitment to the grind. That's a wild card prospective teams will be wise to take into account as they seek to fill out their ranks heading into training camp this summer.
