Throughout the start of the NFL offseason, all we've seen regarding Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is that he could potentially get traded in the near future. Could the Vikes really be ready to move on from the veteran signal-caller?

Well, that won't be happening, as general manager Rick Spielman has come out and made it clear that Cousins is Minnesota's starter. That won't change for the 2021 campaign.

As you can see from the tweet above, Spielman has seen all of those trade rumors and has decided to put the kibosh on things once and for all. If you're Cousins, you've got to feel good knowing that your GM has your back like this.

At the same time, Cousins will need to have a bounce-back season in 2021 if he wants to get his countless haters off his back. We'll see what the veteran QB will be able to get done once the new campaign arrives.
