Zion Williamson's meniscus injury held him out for the first few months of the NBA season, but he's been back and delivering highlight-reel performances on the regular. Well, on Friday night, he and No. 2 overall pick Ja Morant finally squared off for the first time as professionals, and after the game the two star rookies exchanged jerseys in an awesome moment.

What's even more special about this moment is the fact that these two budding stars played alongside each other during their AAU days. Fast forward a few years, and they're on the cusp of stardom and have finally shared the NBA hardwood alongside one another.

Zion and the Pelicans got the better of Morant's Grizzlies, winning 139-111. Williamson scored 24 points and added six rebounds and three assists, while Ja scored 16 and dished out three assists.

They'll be back on the floor together as teammates during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago when they join forces for the Rising Stars Challenge.
