VIDEO: Yankees Take Lead After 4th Inning Homers From Gio Urshela and Luke Voit
By Parker White

After taking an early 1-0 lead, the New York Yankees fell victim to the longball against the New York Mets, thanks to a three-run homer off the bat of Jeff McNeil. But, as the Yankees have done all season, they came roaring back. The initial hero this time: third baseman Gio Urshela.

You can't say enough about how great Urshela has been for the Yankees. He's replacing the injured Miguel Andujar at third base, and the defense-first infielder has really pulled his own weight offensively.

Gio Urshela in 54 games with the Yankees: five home runs, 27 RBI, 11 doubles
The offense wasn't content with just tying the game in the fourth inning, however. The rally continued, and slugging designated hitter Luke Voit blasted a no-doubter to left field for a three-run homer. Don't hang a slider to this guy.

So, after getting down 4-1 in the top of the third inning, the Yankees have scored six runs on five hits, including two homers off the bats of Urshela and Voit. Not a bad rebound.
