VIDEO: Yankees Post Astoundingly Good Hype Clip to Kick off Playoff Run

Friday is the start of the ALDS matchup between the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins, and the excitement in the Bronx is through the roof right now. As is customary for this time of year, plenty of teams have posted hype videos pumping up their supporters for the playoffs, but this one from the Yankees is enough to make any Yankee fan want to run through a brick wall:

Everything about it is just brilliant. Not only does it highlight the sheer dominance of their play this year, but it also tips a cap to both CC Sabathia and manager Aaron Boone toward the end of the clip.
And that's not even mentioning the recounting of the team's rich playoff history. The ghosts of postseasons' past throughout the video are chilling. Nothing gives the fans a better taste of pending playoff glory.
So with Houston’s win last night, the Yankees are set to play Minnesota in the ALDS.

Friday brings the 2019 squad a chance to write their names in the history books. They'll be facing off against a familiar foe in the Twins, a team that the Yankees have dominated in the playoffs since the turn of the century.
Maybe that familiarity is just what they need to channel the old teams and sprint headlong towards the World Series.
