VIDEO: Xander Bogaerts and J.D. Martinez Tie the Game up With Back-to-Back 8th-Inning Blasts

The X-Man wasn't about to go down without a fight, not under the bright lights of Sunday Night Baseball. With the Red Sox trailing 4-2, Bogaerts came to the plate in the eighth inning and smacked a solo shot to bring the game within one run.

It was his 20th bomb of the season as he continue his All-Star campaign. Sox fans are hopeful that his blast will spark a rally from the squad and enable them to turn the game around against the Dodgers.

And that's exactly what it did, as J.D. Martinez was the next at the dish and smoked a solo shot of his own off Pedro Baez, making it a tie ball game at Fenway Park.
