VIDEO: Vikings Release Incredibly Strange TMNT Hype Video Ahead of Week 2 Clash With Packers

The Vikings Twitter account savagely trolled Takk McKinley following their Week 1 win over the Falcons, leaving fans hopeful for what could be an entertaining year from the social media team. Their latest post, however, takes an entirely different tune, and to be quite honest, we're completely confused as to what the purpose of this video is. Check out the team's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Vikings" hype video they shared ahead of their clash with the Packers.

We aren't exactly hyped after watching that, and unless we're missing something here, it's difficult to see the connection between the Vikings and the animated ninja turtles. .

Does Everson Griffen have secret nunchaku skills we know nothing about? Will the NFL allow Ninja-Turtle-style headbands after the NBA banned them? And do the rest of the Vikings love pizza as much as the Ninja Turtles do? Otherwise, what exactly was the point of this?

It seems that fans were equally confused, though some still appreciated the effort from the social media account.

The Packers will assume the role of the evil Shredder for Week 2, when the Vikings look to build on their win against Atlanta and hand Green Bay their first loss of the season. Looks like it's up to the Vikings' mutant defensive line to get after Aaron Rodgers and bring the team a win.
