Remember this moment. We might be witnessing the start of a legendary career. 15-year-old tennis prodigy Coco Gauff became the youngest player to qualify for Wimbledon in the Open era, and on Monday in her first match, she did what seemed to be the impossible and defeated Venus Williams in two sets. Take a look:

Venus is no scrub, even at this stage of her career. The 39-year-old is a five-time Wimbledon champion, and to put this in some perspective on how impressive this is that a 15-year-old defeated such an accomplished player, when Gauff was born Venus already won four of her seven major titles.

In continuance of heaping praise on Gauff for this amazing win, she defeated Williams in straight sets 6-4, 6-4, including in the first where she was on the attack after her serve.

Gauff played a clean game all the way around, totaling only two unforced errors in the first set that included a double fault. Even after getting her serve broken in the second set to make it 4-4, Gauff was not phased like most young players would be against someone of Venus' stature.

Instead, she came right back and finished off the set and eventual victory. Gauff would not be denied, and this could be the beginning of an impressive Wimbledon run.
