VIDEO: Urban Meyer Literally Cannot Keep Himself Away From College Football
By Kevin Aquino

Even though he retired following the Rose Bowl last season, Urban Meyer made his way to Ohio State's sidelines once again. Meyer was spotted at the Buckeyes' training camp earlier Tuesday, hanging out with Ryan Day's team.

Meyer's recent retirement isn't the first time he's left a college football program due to health reasons. He served as the Florida Gators' head coach from 2005 to 2010, and stepped down after a win in the 2011 Outback Bowl.
The NCAA suspended Meyer for the first three games of last season, when reports of his knowledge regarding OSU assistant coach Zach Smith's domestic violence allegations came to light.
In a news release, Ohio State said it has 62 former players on NFL training camp rosters. Fifty-five of them were coached by Urban Meyer for at least one season.

Given Meyer's history, is it out of the question that he expresses desire to come back to coaching? At 55 years old, Meyer is serving as Ohio State's assistant athletic director.
The Buckeyes have a new head coach in former offensive coordinator Ryan Day, who supports having the three-time national champion around during practice. Despite controversy following Meyer around, he's still celebrated as one of college football's greatest coaches.
Urban Meyer attended today's practice. Day said, "It's great to having him around."

It isn't clear whether Meyer will be a college football coach again or not, but he isn't known to stay away from the field for long.
