VIDEO: UNC and South Carolina Fans Engage in All-Out Brawl Before Saturday's Game

Absolute mayhem transpired prior to Saturday's season-opening showdown between the South Carolina Gamecocks and North Carolina Tar Heels. Ironically enough, however, the madness didn't take place on the football field. Fans of both programs partook in a legitimate all-out brawl at a pre-game tailgate outside of Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, NC. Be advised, folks, the clip is anything but pleasing to the eye.

Yikes.

It goes without saying that sports fandom brings out the very worst in us at times, but there is no excuse for petulant and barbaric antics like this to arise from all of the emotion and bitterness.

It's virtually impossible to make out a headcount of those that partook in the scrap, but the video suggests that there's about 20-plus buffoons involved. We can only hope that nobody was seriously injured.
