VIDEO: Twins Abruptly End Yankees' Inning by Pulling off Awesome Triple Play

The Yankees got off to a solid start in a pivotal AL matchup against the Twins. Two quick hits off of Martín Perez to start the game, and it looked as if the Bombers were in the drivers seat early on. Well, that all changed with one swing of the bat, as the Twins were able to escape the inning thanks to a beautifully-turned triple play.

Edwin Encarnación is probably livid that he didn't get that ball airborne. Instead, he grounded directly to third base, and his lack of speed assisted the Twins in turning three.

It was the 13th triple in Twins' history, and the first one since June 1, 2017.
