VIDEO: Trevor Lawrence Was Literally Trash Talking Syracuse While Running into the End Zone
By Karl Rasmussen

Trevor Lawrence is endlessly confident, and he won't back down from any competition. He's also not afraid to trash talk at virtually any point of the game. Unfortunately for the Syracuse defense, that includes during a touchdown run. After keeping the option for himself, Lawrence tucked the ball and found a hole to take the ball into the end zone. Before crossing the goal line, Lawrence turned around and appeared to have some words for a Syracuse defender.

It takes a special talent to turn and roast your opponent before you're even across the goal line, but that's exactly what Lawrence did.
It doesn't even matter what Lawrence said here, he could have come up with a terrible insult, but at the end of the day, he's standing in the end zone and just gave his team six points.
That drive for Amari Rodgers:

- Caught Trevor Lawrence's 300th career pass completion on a 16-yard gain.
- Caught a touchdown reception in front of the first sellout crowd at Syracuse since his father, Tee Martin, quarterbacked Tennessee at Syracuse in the 1998 season opener.
Lawrence has the Tigers out in front early, and based on this rush they aren't going to be taking their foot off the throttle any time soon. It could be a long day for Cuse.
