VIDEO: Tate Martell Spotted Warming up as Wide Receiver Before Miami vs Florida
By Mark Powell

The Tate Martell experiment continues. With the news that Martell lost out on the Miami Hurricanes QB competition (and surprisingly didn't enter the transfer portal again), the Ohio State transfer has opted to switch position instead. We caught our first glimpse of Martell at wide receiver during Miami warmups prior to their season-opening game against Florida.

Martell is an elite athlete and while a transition to wideout will surely take some time, there's no telling what he can do in this offense for Manny Diaz and Co. At the very least, he'll be a weapon whenever utilized on the field as a decoy.
