VIDEO: Steelers Open Scoring With Crushing Sack of Titans QB Marcus Mariota for Safety

The Pittsburgh Steelers defense came to play on Sunday Night Football. With the Tennessee Titans backed up near the end zone early in the first quarter, the defensive line crashed the line of scrimmage, with defensive tackle Stephon Tuitt registering the sack on Marcus Mariota for a safety.

That's the exact type of hunger that the Pittsburgh defense will need this year if they want to succeed. Getting to the quarterback in critical spots will help the team immensely.

The defense is set to play a much larger role than it has in recent years. With Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell out of the picture, the offense isn't as strong this year. A more balanced approach is vital, and if the defense can play like that, they'll be in good shape for 2019.
