VIDEO: Steelers Greats Roll up for Unveiling of Team Roller Coaster at Kennywood

Kennywood Park will open its doors for business on Saturday, but that didn't stop a bunch of Pittsburgh Steelers legends from trying out the "Steel Curtain" before anyone else could.

Some current players also pulled up like Cam Heyward and Matt Feiler to witness the first roller coaster themed after an NFL team. It's safe to say this ride was a touchdown.

The Steel Curtain set a world record for the highest inversion at 197 feet, and a record in North America for the most inversions with nine.

Kennywood spokesperson Nick Paradise would provide some context for those who have their eyes on the ride, stating the following:

"I mean that lift, you’re at a 50-degree angle, so you feel like you’re almost vertical and your climbing and climbing and climbing."

You would think with Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell departing from the team this past offseason that the entire Steelers fanbase would be in shambles. Yet, this theme park will provide Steeler fans with a summer they will never forget.

Rest assured Pittsburgh residents, the roller coaster functions as advertised, and is indeed faster than Ben Roethlisberger.
