VIDEO: South Carolina's Ryan Hilinski Misses Open Receiver on Last Second Heave vs Appalachian State

South Carolina had one final chance to earn a victory against Appalachian State on Saturday night, and they put the ball in the hands of freshman QB Ryan Hilinski. Well, as time expired in the game, Hilinski heaved a deep bomb to an open receiver, but overthrew him resulting in an incompletion and a Gamecocks' loss.

Hilinski had his receiver in prime position to hand the Gamecocks a one-point lead and the victory, but instead sent Bryan Edwards flying into the shrubs at the back of the end zone.

Appalachian State's impressive season continued as they were able to take down their SEC opponents in South Carolina, 20-15.
