VIDEO: SMU Run Perfect Flea Flicker for TD to Narrow Deficit Against Memphis

SMU and Memphis are squaring off Saturday in a Week 10 American conference ranked matchup, and it certainly lived up to the billing. In the early fourth quarter, with the Mustangs trailing 40-24, they decided to get crafty with their playcalling, and it certainly paid off in a big way. SMU dialed up a flea flicker, and while it didn't result with a wide open receiver streaking down field, they were able to get six points all the same.

Shane Buechele was able to find Kylen Gransen for a 30-yard score after confusing Memphis' secondary, bringing the Mustangs back within 10 points.

Unfortunately the Tigers were able to score on their next drive and re-extend their lead.
