VIDEO: Shea Patterson's Quote After Win Over MSU is Setting Michigan up for Trap Game vs Indiana

For the first time in what seems like forever, Jim Harbaugh and Michigan have some real momentum. However, quarterback Shea Patterson, who has really found a groove in the last few weeks, might have just ruined all of that by tempting hate with his latest overconfident quotes. After beating hated rivals Michigan State pretty handily, Patterson declared that while the Wolverines have to play Indiana on the road, they already have their eyes set on Ohio State.

Let's not write the Hoosiers off just yet.

Yes, star freshman quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is out for the year, but Tom Allen has something brewing in Bloomington. Peyton Ramsey leads a 7-3 Indiana team that just gave Penn State a run for their money and could potentially leapfrog Michigan State in the Big Ten pecking order. This isn't playing Rutgers or Northwestern off a bye here.

Michigan was probably going to win before Patterson opened his mouth, but now the football gods have all the motivation they need to see the Wolverines fall to the Hoosiers.
