You know the saying, "Life imitates art"? Well, we got yet another hilarious example of this Thursday night, courtesy of two terrible NBA teams and a 30-year-old NBC sitcom. The Cavaliers' Twitter account was wise enough to pull this clip from the TV show "Seinfeld" for us following the team's eight-point overtime victory over the Spurs Thursday night, and it seems this oracle was just a few decades too early.

While this connection is tenuous at best, it's very amusing that the Cavs were able to pull up this clip from the archives, in celebration of their first victory since Thanksgiving. Likewise, it's about time Tor's advice came through (my dad has been betting an eight-point spread in favor of the Cavaliers against the Spurs for decades because of this episode).

Maybe this is definitive proof that life is, in fact, one big simulation. Either that, or Jerry Seinfeld or Larry David is some all-knowing basketball wizard who dreamed the result of this game 28 years before it was set to happen. Regardless, we would like to thanks the Spurs and the Cavs for allowing this joke to resurface in 2019.
