VIDEO: Red Sox Sign Indy Ball Pitcher With Remarkable Sinker
By Parker White

MLB teams are always looking for pitching and they'll go anywhere to find it, including an independent league called the American Association, where the Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Dylan Thompson, who possesses a wicked sinker. Check this out:

Thompson will head to the minor leagues for the first time since 2015 when he was part of the Colorado Rockies organization.
The right-hander played for the Winnipeg Goldeyes, and in 21 starts last season he posted a 5.13 ERA, which is a bit misleading as a third of the runs he allowed came in two outings.

It might take some time for Thompson to reach the big leagues, but if he's on top of his game, he could rise through the minors with ease. I mean, did you see that guy's sinker? That thing is filthy and can get major league hitters out.
