The Kawhi Leonard era in Toronto might have been brief, but it was spectacular. Leonard willed the Raptors to the franchise's first-ever NBA championship before heading back home to join the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency. Kawhi will make his return to Toronto on Wednesday night, and the Raptors already have a tribute video planned that will celebrate his historic season in Canada.

That video had everything. There were clips of the dagger game-winner against the 76ers, his famous quote, "what it do baby", and the championship victory over the Warriors.

Leonard, who almost went back to the Raptors in free agency, and he clearly has some love for the city as he and New Balance teamed up to release a new billboard in downtown Toronto thanking the fans after his sabbatical in Canada.

He might have only been there for one season, but Kawhi has established himself as a Raptors legend that will be deservedly treated as royalty north of the border for the rest of his career.
