So there's power in speaking things into existence after all. Just ask Oakland Raiders rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who bought his dad a house after just one year in the NFL. And his pops couldn't hold back tears at his beloved son's gesture.

Jacobs' story is truly amazing. Once homeless with his four siblings and his father Marty, he worked his way up to becoming a heralded national recruit out of Tulsa after rushing for over 5,000 yards and 56 touchdowns in high school. He was recruited to play for Nick Saban at Alabama before being drafted by the Raiders 24th overall in the first round.

Now making big bucks in the pros, Jacobs was able to show his gratitude to his father by purchasing him the new house.

From living in and out of cars, to owning a beautiful full property in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jacobs has only played one year in the league, but he is wasting no time in giving back to those who helped him achieve his dream.
