Remember the date of Nov. 7, 2019: the day the fullback position was resurrected from the dead. During the Week 10 edition of Thursday Night Football between the Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers, the home team worked their way down to the red zone facing a 14-10 deficit. With offensive weapons like rookie Josh Jacobs and tight end Darren Waller at his disposal, quarterback Derek Carr opted to target fullback Alec Ingold, who took it eight yards to the house to give Oakland the 17-14 lead.

The fullback position is back, and it's better than ever!

It's almost like it never left.
