VIDEO: Philip Rivers Caps Long Drive With TD Pass to Hunter Henry

Philip Rivers needed to right the ship before halftime after his putrid start to Thursday Night Football. He tossed two ugly interceptions early on, one of which was returned for a touchdown and dug the Chargers into a 10-point hole. Well, head coach Anthony Lynn responded by feeding Melvin Gordon, who methodically marched Los Angeles down the field picking up chunks of yardage on each of his touches. The drive, however, was capped by Rivers connecting with tight end Hunter Henry in the back on the end zone to help bring the score to 10-7.

There ya go, Phil!

Beautiful things can happen when you let plays run their course and don't force throws into tight coverage.
