Manchester United looked the inferior team in the first half of play, despite holding a 1-0 lead, but after what must have been a rejuvenating halftime spiel from Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the game completely turned in the second half. Just two minutes after Anthony Martial made it 2-0, Paul Pogba lofted a beautiful through ball over the Chelsea defense. Marcus Rashford tracked it down and showed off his pace and clinical finishing, as he slotted it past Kepa for United's third goal of the evening.
Pogba's pass could not have been placed any better, and Rashford timed his run to perfection, as the tandem combined for the sensational goal.
Solskjær's men simply could not have dreamed up a better start to the campaign, and Rashford will be thrilled to have found the net in the season opening clash.
